The 20-year-old country cutie is nominated in four categories: Entertainer, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (for “You Belong With Me” – nominated as artist and songwriter), and Video of the Year (for “You Belong With Me”). The 45th Annual ACM Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, April 18th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Taylor Swift took home four Grammy awards at the 2010 Grammys, including the top prize of Album of the Year for Fearless!

The 20-year-old singer also won Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for “White Horse” and Best Country Album.

“Thank you so much,” Taylor said. “I just hope you know how much this means to me and to Nathan [Chapman], my producer, and to all these musicians you see on this stage, that we get to take this back to Nashville! Our families are freaking out in the living room! My dad and my little brother are losing their minds in the living room right now. This is for my dad – thank you for all those times you said I could do whatever I wanted in life. And my mom, you’re my best friend.

“This is the story that all of us, when we’re 80 years old and we are telling the same stories over and over again to our grandkids and they’re so annoyed with us…this is the story that we’re going to be telling over and over again – in 2010, that we got to win Album of the Year at the Grammys! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Taylor Swift sparkles at the 2010 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 31) in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old singer wore a stunning Kaufman Franco dress, jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Taylor won two Grammys for best country song (”White Horse”) and best female country vocal. She had been nominated for eight Grammy awards. “This is my first Grammy, you guys, I mean this is a Grammy,” she said. “I live in awe of all the great people I competed with.”

On her friendships with certain celebrities: “When I need to vent or have a rant about something that’s bothering me, I’ll call my friendsEmma (Stone, from Zombieland) or Selena (Gomez), who can always cheer me up – she’s like a ray of sunshine! And Katy (Perry) always sends me the most hilarious text messages.”

On doing things for herself and not for any boy who comes around: “In school I hated my hair. My first boyfriend would make subtle suggestions, like, ‘I love your hair straight – you should do that more often.’ So I’d straighten it all the time. Or he’d say, ‘You look so good with a tan,’ so I was tanning every day. It hit me that I didn’t want to be the version of myself that he approved of, so I had to end it. I look back at pictures of myself and I look like a different person.”

On her stellar fans: “They’re girls my age who I’d be hanging out with if I was at school right now. We have a close relationship. If they come to a few shows, I remember them. I’m not going to put up a weird barrier between me and my fans – I wouldn’t have any of this without them.”

According to E Online, Taylor Swift may also be performing her latest single, “Today Was a Fairytale” at the 2010 Grammy Awards.

The 20-year-old musician is also expected to perform her chart-topping “You Belong With Me” at the award ceremony where she’s up for several awards including Album of the Year.

“Today Was A Fairytale” is featured on the upcoming Valentine’s Day soundtrack.

Watertower Music’s Jason Linn says of the song, “I think [the soundtrack] is going to do better than most because the Taylor engine is so powerful and the song couldn’t be more appropriate forTaylor. The title alone describes her life right now, don’t you think?”

The 20-year-old entertainer opened up is the issue on her top ten rules when it comes to love. She shared about what she learned from her past breakups, “However hard and painful they are, you will learn something from [a breakup]. That is the most contrived, you’ve-heard-it-million times lesson, but I really do feel like everything is put in your life to teach you something–even if it’s terrible and hard.”

Taylor also dished on not constantly looking for a boyfriend, saying, “”I feel like that is no pressure on me right now to find that great love. I can get to know people without some ulterior motive.”

Taylor Swift has been named ‘Artist Of The Year’ by Billboard.

The 19-year-old country star was only beat out by Michael Jackson in album sales, ‘Fearless’ – her first headlining tour – sold out every show within minutes and she became the youngest person ever to win the Country Music Association’s ‘Entertainer Of The Year’ award.

“To say Taylor Swift had a remarkable year would be a comic understatement,” wrote Billboard’s editors in announcing the honour.

“She set seemingly every chart record that exists. But most important, she proved herself a graceful, timeless celebrity, handling hosting duties on Saturday Night Live and a rampaging Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards with equal aplomb.”
